In today’s episode of Intuitive Tuesday, I answer the question… “is my coaching I’m offering worth what I’m charging?”

3 Questions To Ask Yourself:

  1. What’s the end “result” of the program?A transformation, a BIG step forward with their… (insert what you do here). Health. Relationship. Career. Business. Can you get clear on their takeaways from your signature program? The more tangible the better.A lot of times I hear women tell me what they offer isn’t tangible, and I get that – clients come to me for business coaching and get SO MUCH more. But I lead with what they are coming to me for – which is helping them creating signature programs and funnels that allow them to get ideal clients online in a heart-centered, aligned way.Knowing your ideal client will allow you to tailor a signature program to them so that the value is crystal clear. When you create a signature program that supports a specific ideal client with a specific strong desire, pricing becomes irrelevant. It all depends on where YOUR pricing vibration is.
  2. For your ideal client, what’s the end result worth to them?Say for example, you’re a relationship coach and you’re helping women become confident and magnetic so she can call in her soulmate. What would becoming the woman who exudes allure, confidence, and magnetic vibes to her future soulmate be worth to this woman? Again, it comes back to knowing your ideal client!

  3. Have you received coaching? If so, then reflect on how it has changed YOUR life. What was that worth to you?If not… I’d ask yourself if you are actually thoroughly convinced in the power of coaching. And if so, why you haven’t invested in it yourself! You cannot ask your clients to do what you yourself will not do.

IT 050: How To Deal With Contradictions In The Self-Help Space

Welcome gorgeous and radiant woman, it’s Mona Lisa Ondevilla and it’s Intuitive Tuesday, the radio show helping intuitives, introverts and empaths manifest the conscious and abundant life and business that they desire.

Today, I want to point out the HUGE contradictions that exist in the personal development/self-help space that used to make me feel terrible about myself, which made me doubt my capability to be a good coach and entrepreneur.

My goal in doing this is to help you see that there’s no right way to do things in life and business, so that you can feel empowered to figure out YOUR OWN unique way of being in the world, and to help you release the shame that can come with doing/thinking things that are non-PC.

For example…

Today, I have a low threshold for gossip, complaining, victim mentality.

I’ll give you an example. Yesterday, I was standing in line at Costco waiting to try an acai smoothie, and a woman walks up and loudly starts commiserating with the sample lady about something that I don’t remember the context of, but the energy was “complain, complain, complain, yeah life is miserable, don’t we all know it, that’s just how it is, low-vibe, low-energy, blah blah…”

So, I wandered away to the frozen fruits section and left Michaelangelo – who thankfully can just ignore people – to grab me a smoothie.

This illustrates the first HUGE contradiction I want to point out…

“Have proper boundaries in place, but love and accept everyone.”

That last part used to realllly get me.

I used to JUDGE MYSELF SO HARSHLY if I didn’t glue myself to the floor whenever low-energy people came around. I would stick it out and shame myself for having judgemental thoughts like– “seriously, your lame-ass martyr story is super boring and isn’t fooling anyone. You’re zero percent committed to taking responsibility for your circumstances, aren’t willing to change anything, love complaining, and wtf are you even wearing, it’s fugly and ruining my high-vibes of being surrounded by beauty. Get me out of here! Wait, MONA LISA, be nice… ”

If I broke this down to the archetypes that I know I have within me, it would be The Mean Girl Vs. The Doormat/Little Miss Perfect

Today, I don’t even have this internal war happen because the second I sense complaining/boring ass vibes, I am OUT.

But it took me awhile to get there because… love and accept everyone, right?

The truth is, you can love and accept everyone and not want to be anywhere near them. We all have our soul’s journey, and I honor that – and now, I also honor my feeling of not wanting to be in the same room as you. Spiritual, right, wrong? I don’t know – but it feels GOOD to me.

Ultimately, you have to do you and what feels good for you (and what feels good for me might not necessarily be what feels good for you!!).

More contradictions …

  • Hustle and do EVERYTHING HUMANLY POSSIBLE TO SUCCEED INCLUDING WORKING NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS, but practice self care and wellness
  • Get crystal clear on what you want to manifest, but detach from the outcome
  • Dream big, but be happy, grateful and content with what you have today
  • Be YOURSELF, but follow my step-by-step solution to succeed in X (life/business/health/wealth)

And I point these out not because I’m making fun of them, in fact, I’ve SAID almost everything of the above myself!!

At different points in your life, all of the above could be true for you.

It gets confusing when we think we’re supposed to be a certain way all the time, and we become vigilant and all-or-nothing about that way of being. We practice so much self-care that we take ZERO action in our business, or we take completely dis-aligned action because we’ve neglected our self-care. Or we’re super kind and accommodating to everyone, including energy vampires, then go home and immediately numb out with Netflix.

The ONLY way out is to tune into your intuition so powerfully, so fiercely, and on a regular basis that you can navigate what’s true for you in any self-help rule (and take what applies to you).

All of the information out there WILL contradict itself, and if you spend your time trying to collect and make sense of everything, your job will never end.

“Your job as a feminine, smart, and intuitive woman is to find out what’s true for you in that MOMENT and in that situation.”

Your job as a feminine, smart, and intuitive woman is to find out what’s true for you in that MOMENT and in that situation (because it can change next week, next month, or next year, then change again, and that’s OK).

Now, I want to leave you with 3 questions to ask yourself so that you can digest and implement the information I shared today.

Write down or think about your answer to the following 3 questions:

  1. What is ONE area in my life or business where I play out an internal tug-of-war based on a contradiction of 2 values I believe in?
  2. What beliefs do I have that subconsciously allow this cycle to keep on going?
  3. What new belief will guide me to re-write this association in a way that feels GOOD?

I’ll give you an example.

  1. Be nice to others and love and accept everyone vs. Set proper boundaries
  2. Setting boundaries makes me a bitch. Setting boundaries means I don’t love and accept others.
  3. New belief: Setting boundaries allows me to show up fully, energetically, and in LOVE in my marriage, friendships and business

When you have that new belief, REFER TO IT OFTEN, especially when you are in situations that trigger this contradiction within you.

Now, I would love to HEAR YOUR TOP CONTRADICTION IN MY FACEBOOK GROUP at facebook.com/groups/intuitivecoaches. Your shared contradiction and journey can DRASTICALLY change the perspective of another woman in the group, so get out that and share share share!

ALRIGHT LADIES, I hope that this has served you and I’ll see you next time on the next episode of Intuitive Tuesday!!

IT 049: Should I Quit My Job To Pursue Coaching? (OR, Should I Go Back To A 9-5?)

Hi beauties, it’s Mona Lisa and it’s Intuitive Tuesday, the radio show helping intuitives, introverts and empaths manifest the conscious and abundant life and business that they desire.

Today, I’m answering a question from Destiny Lynn in My Intuitive Coaches Facebook group. She writes in…

“My question is how do soulfully determine if you should go back to your 9-5 with the intent on using it as a tool to further invest in your business. I have been sick over the decision to go back to my 9-5 so I can fully fund my dream. Or to continue just finding ways to cut corners and just make it work.”

This IS SUCH a great question, Destiny, and one I get asked all the time! Thank you for submitting it.

I think that having a job that feels good – READ: not energy draining, all consuming, or stressful – can be a powerful and effective way to invest in your business if it feels like it will create more SPACE in your life as opposed to more heaviness.

I went back to a 9-5 job after I had invested in my website, coach training, logo, etc. because I didn’t want to feel the pressure of HAVING TO GET CLIENTS in order to survive. Personally for me, that energy felt toxic and unsupportive of my mission as a new coach trying to establish herself.

I knew it wasn’t going to be my job forever, so I called in a wonderful 9-5 job that felt very fun, lighthearted and easygoing. I stayed there for a couple of years until I felt SO ready to go full-time in my coaching business.

Going back to your question – you said you felt sick over the decision to go back to your 9-5 so you can fully fund your dream.

What is it about going back to a 9-5 job that makes you feel sick?

Is it the job itself (in which case, I’d say, get a job that you enjoy more and have fun with it!) or perhaps the lack of flexibility (in which case, I’d say get a job that offers you time and location flexibility!)?

OR, is it something else, like your soul wants NOTHING more than to be full-time in your coaching practice right now, and you KNOW you can make it happen?

OR, is being part-time somewhere an option?

There’s no black and white answer, so in lieu of personally getting on a coaching session with you and hashing this out, I want to give you 3 tips for getting the answer for yourself.

Tip #1)

Tune into your intuition and ask yourself…. What would be in greatest support right now for your business? Will your business flow more if you have the support of a 9-5 job, or if you were in it full-time?

Tip #2)

Consider creative options. For example, I had a job for a few years as I was building my practice, and when I left, I decided to move back into my grandparents’ house in order to take the rent and other bills off of my plate while I REALLY built it up.

That won’t necessarily be your solution, but think outside of the box here – what creative solutions can you think of right now in order to invest in your business’ success? Maybe it’s nanny-ing, tutor-ing, VA-ing, putting some investments on a CC, or simply doing everything humanly possible you can do to book your next clients in order to cover your investments.

Tip # 3)

Be clear on exactly what you need and for what. Do you have a certain dollar amount you need to make a month before you HAVE to go back to a 9-5? Or, do you need $5k, $10k, $20k to cover your business investments? Getting clear might be all it takes! For example, if you need $10K to cover some investments, that can be as simple as landing a few clients, and cutting a few corners as you said, as opposed to going back to a regular job.

Alright Destiny, thanks for asking your questions, and I hope those tips have helped you!

And if you resonated with Destiny, I hope that this has served you as well.

NOW, I’d love to know what your takeaways are if you listened in and related to Destiny’s question! Let me know by heading to my Facebook group at and you can also submit your own question there.

I hope that this has served you, and I’ll see you next Tuesday on the next episode of Intuitive Tuesday.
